The Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has reaffirmed its commitment to collaborate with the Community Protection Guard (CPG) in the state.
State Commandant Sani Mustapha expressed this during a meeting with the new leadership of the CPG at the NSCDC Command headquarters in Gusau.
Mustapha emphasized that the CPG is crucial and will receive full support from the Corps to ensure its effectiveness.
He assured the CPG leadership of the Corps’ steadfast support to enhance its service delivery.
Brigadier General L. B. Mohammed (retired), the new Commandant of the CPG, praised the existing collaboration between the Corps and the CPG since its inception.
He called for continued cooperation to address the security challenges in the state, noting that the NSCDC is well-equipped to assist the CPG in combating criminal activities.
Mohammed urged the Corps to intensify its support where necessary to achieve optimal results.
