Controversial social media personality, VeryDarkMan, has called out Reno Omokri for allegedly meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, a man Omokri once vehemently opposed.
In a heated video, VeryDarkMan slammed Omokri, accusing him of hypocrisy and lacking integrity.
The backlash stems from a photo circulating online, showing Omokri, who recently returned to Nigeria, visiting Tinubu at the Presidential Villa. This visit has not gone down well with many Nigerians, particularly supporters of Peter Obi, who have been critical of Omokri for his perceived shift in loyalty.

Netizens were quick to dig up an old video of Omokri from December 2022, when he staged a protest against Tinubu at Chatham House in the UK, labeling the then-presidential candidate as a “drug lord.” Omokri was outspoken in his criticism of Tinubu at the time, stating on his X handle (formerly Twitter) that there was “no way a drug lord could become the President of Nigeria.”

However, following Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election, Omokri’s stance appears to have changed. He has since become a vocal critic of Peter Obi. This shift has raised eyebrows, with many questioning Omokri’s integrity.
In his video, VeryDarkMan claimed to have insider knowledge, stating that he knew the people Omokri allegedly begged in order to secure a meeting with Tinubu. “You have no integrity,” VeryDarkMan declared. “I know the people that you begged to meet Tinubu. Is that why you were attacking Peter Obi?”
