Popular Nigerian musician, Portable, made headlines after a heated altercation with a fellow Nigerian at a mall in Canada.
The Zazoo crooner was seen in a video exchanging harsh words with the man, who allegedly demanded Portable visit and promote his restaurant without prior agreement or payment.
According to reports, the incident occurred shortly before Portable’s scheduled performance in Regina. The musician shared his side of the story on social media, stating that the man initially attempted to force him to promote his personal business. Portable claimed he declined politely, leading to an increasingly confrontational exchange.
The situation escalated further when the man allegedly insisted that Portable take photos with all fans at the mall. Portable refused, citing his need for personal space while shopping, which reportedly angered the individual. The man allegedly threatened to slap the musician and even hit his promoter, AJ Bone, during the commotion.
Portable explained that security officers witnessed the entire altercation, with surveillance cameras capturing the incident. The officers reportedly advised Portable to press charges, which he confirmed is now being handled by the authorities.
