Former Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Dino Melaye, has once again stirred reactions on social media after announcing his return to school.
In a post on his official X account, the flamboyant politician shared a photo of himself with the caption, “Back to school,” sparking both praise and criticism from netizens.

While some users applauded Melaye for continuing his education, despite holding numerous degrees, others criticized him for what they termed as misplaced priorities. Many believe that Melaye, who is known for his lavish lifestyle and love for luxury cars, should focus on more “needful” matters instead of pursuing additional academic qualifications.
One critical netizen remarked: “Very good. You need to get completely reschooled to at least remove the childish and clownish character you exhibit consistently. White Lion should be your lecturer to help reset you faster.”
Despite the mixed responses, a number of Melaye’s followers congratulated him, hailing his decision to pursue further education as an inspiration, especially for young people. However, Melaye did not disclose which institution he is attending, leaving many curious about his latest academic endeavor.
Dino Melaye has often been in the spotlight for his flamboyant lifestyle, particularly his penchant for luxury cars, and his latest announcement has done little to calm the controversy that seems to follow him.
