Hope is a formidable force. It is so intense that the passage of time can not water down its potency.
Hopefulness is a virtue we all should strive to improve on. Ordinarily, we’re all hopeful beings. Otherwise, what is the guarantee that we will be alive tomorrow? Yet, we all make plans for it. We anticipate going to school, working, or travelling the next day.
Every day, we have to do lists, and we endeavour to keep up with it. Hopefulness requires mindfulness, and the more we hope, the more positive we become. Years ago, I got a T-shirt gift from my friend. I particularly liked it because of the inscription. Be hopeful! Why do we have to hope?
Fear, love, anger, and hope are the few compelling emotions I know of. Love may be more wonderful than all, but hope stands out. Hope is superior to fear.
Mostly, fear could be fleeting, just like anger is. The realm of hopefulness is a place that endures and triumphs.
Empirical studies have shown that patients who are hopeful of full recovery are more likely to actually recover than those patients who are hopeless or doubtful. You can fact-check this.
We need hope as we are surrounded by darkness that portends hopelessness in itself.
For instance, recession has become a global phenomenon. The paucity of jobs, funds, education, empowerment, skills, health, and finances have caused a meltdown to us.
Apparently, hopefulness requires mindfulness. It is like a self-service unit. You need to vulcanize your hope. It is your personal responsibility to ensure it is fully gauged. Be responsible enough to admit this. Choose what to read, watch, where, and who to mingle with.
Living well is predicated on hope. We hope to have a pleasant day, a clement weather, a good outing, and a rewarding experience each day.
Be hopeful!
It has often been said that failure is not fatal. Yes, failure offers you another opportunity to do better and achieve. A student who failed the examination she prepared for should not be downcast. Failure affords you the chance to aim higher.
Be hopeful!
Missed opportunities are not the end of life. Stay hopeful!
Someone I knew once lost an international job position because she was too young for the esteemed job. She was crestfallen, but she was advised to anticipate another offer.
Today, not only did she get a better offer, but she got the one with a more enabling package.
Be hopeful!
In recent times, my perspective on life has been impacted, and I can unequivocally state that a joyful life is not the one with copious resources. Don’t get it twisted!
Joy stems from the place of contentment. Contentment is not having all you need. It is simply being satisfied with what you possess. How enough is enough?
Be hopeful!
We all need a generous portion of hope for us to value what we have. The toddlers we have now would grow to become adults. The nuclear family of ours would grow. Parents would live to become grandparents.
The small corner shop you own now, build it up and be hopeful. One day, it could become a household name.
We have heard how Coca-Cola failed to sell a bottle in several days. We at least know that it is a global brand now.
Be hopeful!
Apprentices who serve their masters are often inundated. There are sour stories of how some were tempted to flee. A lot of times, when they stick around, with the hope of becoming masters someday, they will eventually cross the rubicon.
Be hopeful!
Hope is forceful and rewarding. The destination may not be visible yet, but as you journey through life, tag along with hope. Its audacity can not be queried. It is a mix of fearlessness and faith and boldness.
Be hopeful!
