A former Senator, who represented Kogi West, Dino Melaye, has again predicted that his party, the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will soon become irrelevant and eventually disintegrate.
Melaye blamed the party’s woes on its National Chairman and its current National Secretary respectively.
He had earlier declared the party dead, saying the founding fathers would be turning in their graves.
The former Senator had also accused the current National Chairman of mismanagement of the party due to his loyalty to former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, who is currently serving as the minister of the Federal Capital Territory under the APC government.
In his latest post on Saturday on his official Facebook page, the vocal Senator wrote: “Beginning of the end of the former biggest political party in Africa by Damagun, Ayanwu, and co.
“The misnomer called the No 1 Opposition Party is moving to its appointed irrelevance and ultimate disintegration with the inexorability of a Greek tragedy. All thanks to agents of destination. SDM”
