Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has congratulated Doris Esiokhayamhe Ogah, the newly crowned 45th Miss Nigeria, for her remarkable achievement.
In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Fred Itua, Governor Okpebholo lauded Miss Ogah’s victory, describing it as a source of pride for Edo State and the South-South geopolitical zone. He emphasized that her success reflects her intelligence, charm, and dedication to impactful causes.
“As a proud representative of Edo State, Miss Ogah has brought immense honour and prestige to our state. Her triumph is not just a testament to her beauty but also to her exceptional talents and values,” the governor stated.
Governor Okpebholo commended Ogah’s commitment to advocating for women’s rights and empowerment, noting her dual roles as a lawyer and gender advocate. He highlighted her innovative business pitch during the competition, which showcased her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to supporting women and girls.
“Miss Ogah’s creativity and passion for positive change were evident throughout the pageant process, particularly in her winning business pitch, which demonstrated her resourcefulness and drive to make a difference,” the statement read.
The governor expressed pride in Ogah as a symbol of Edo State’s talent and excellence. He also acknowledged the platform her victory provides to amplify her advocacy for education, entrepreneurship, and social justice.
