Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has come under criticism for her choice of outfit during a beach outing.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, the Yoruba movie star was seen enjoying the beach as she counted down to her upcoming birthday on October 7. Alongside the video, Laide expressed her excitement, writing, “How you feel when it’s almost your birthday. Calmly waiting on October 7th, my birthday.”

However, not all fans were impressed with the post. A critic took to the comment section to admonish the mother of three, urging her to dress more modestly and set a positive example. The comment read, “Dress modestly, ma. Lead by example. Now this is getting out of hand.”
In response, many of Laide Bakare’s fans quickly came to her defense, slamming the critic and supporting the actress for her personal style and choices.
