Yunusa Raji was born in the early 80s in Dekina local government area of Kogi state, to the family of Alhaji Yunusa.
He had his primary school education at the Islamiya Primary School Dekina Kogi state afterwards, attended Lajada High School, Biu Borno State where he obtained his Senior School Certificate.
Yunusa Raji who is fondly called, ‘King Raji’ haven graduated with merits, and for the love of education, immediately proceeded to bag a Bachelor Degree in Geography from the prestigious University of Maiduguri, Borno state.
In order to give back to the people, Raji returned back to the classroom in Wukari, Taraba state where he observed his compulsory National Youth Service Corp to teach in order to impact lives around the community.
He is a member of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) where he has served as member of presidential campaign council in many occasion.
He became known for his progressive instincts through his contributions to the emergence of the All Progressive Congress in 2015 as the ruling party in Nigeria.
His impressive Democratic career as the leader of Project One Nigeria caught the eyes of several stalwart of Nigerian politicians.
He has been an advocate and lover of the Chief of Staff to president Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, from day zero.
By and large Yunusa Raji politics is tailored along the conciliatory and unifying style of politics for which late Ahmadu Bello was well-known.
His style of politics and indeed relationship with people from all corners of Nigeria resonates with Bello’s political ideology that Nigeria can be bigger and better as a united entity.
Raji has never deviated from this path hence he endeavors at all times to give people of other religions and ethnicity a sense of belonging.
As a devoted Muslim, he has continued to demonstrate his desire to making sure that those with the will to succeed but without capacity are being raised by his influence.
He has continued to facilitate scholarship for students in and around Kogi state as well as making sure that widows are not left behind in his magnanimous campaign for brother’s keeper.
Despite being an Abuja-based politician, he has continued to extend his fellowship to those in government in Kogi state by encouraging as well as preaching peaceful co-existence in the state.
He has continued to use his social media strength to preach for the success of president Bola Tinubu whom he described as Nigeria’s change maker.
In his political activities he never ceases to preach peace, love and unity among all Nigerians, and as a fluent Hausa language speaker he is at home with the high and low in the Northern part of the country.
Realizing that the obverse of unity is division, and invariably conflagration Raji Yunusa can be said to be obsessed about the unity of Nigeria and a clear indication of this is in his social media activities.
