Popular skit maker and comedian, Mark Angel, has revealed that he is no longer managing the teen stars, Emmanuella and Success, a significant shift in his career and the dynamics of his popular comedy crew.
This announcement comes just a few months after controversy arose surrounding Mark Angel’s former crew member, Denilson Igwe, who accused him of financial exploitation.
The accusations drew attention to the internal workings of the Mark Angel Comedy brand, sparking widespread discussions about management and fairness within the comedy industry.
In a recent TikTok live session held on Tuesday, Mark Angel addressed the issue and confirmed that he is no longer directly responsible for managing Emmanuella and Success.
According to the comedian, the two rising stars are now managed by a professional agency that handles their engagements. However, Mark clarified that although he no longer manages them, he still collaborates with them on projects.
Mark explained, “I no longer manage Emmanuella and Success. There was a time when I used to manage them when they were kids, but I’m now overwhelmed with various commitments. They are now under the management of a professional agency because I am too busy to manage them myself. But I still work with them.”
This change marks a new chapter for Emmanuella and Success, who gained fame at a young age through their comedic skits.
While Mark Angel’s decision to step back from their management may signal growth for the young stars, it also underscores the increasing demands of fame and the need for professional oversight as their careers continue to flourish.
