Jude Ighalo ex-wife calls for bride price refund amid renewed feud

Sonia, the ex-wife of Nigerian footballer Jude Ighalo, has reignited their ongoing feud, this time publicly asking the footballer to come forward for a refund of the bride price he paid during their marriage.

In a fiery post shared online, Sonia vented her frustrations, accusing Ighalo and his family of causing unnecessary drama.

In her post, Sonia wrote:
“Who will help me beg them to send account details to return their bride price??? I no do again don turn wahala… On top of the 24 naira wey you pay, and my parents even gave you half of the money to take care of their ONLY daughter, now you still want to stress me?”

She further expressed outrage at the situation, claiming that her father, who resides in the United States, was being dragged into their marital issues. Sonia hinted that if she wasn’t hiding in Lagos, the matter would have been settled at the palace or even in Ekpoma, her hometown.
She ended her post with a cryptic Bible verse, saying, “Evil that men do… Esther 6:7. I stand in God’s word in Romans 12:19. May we not encounter evil mothers-in-law.”
