The Vice Chancellor, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai (IBBUL), Professor Abu Kasim Adamu has congratulated staff of the institution on the occasions of Worker’s Day.
In a statement to mark 2024 Workers Day, the Vice Chancellor said the relationships between employers and employees, masters and servants, kings and subjects, and above all leaders and the led must always be cordial in order to achieve maximum output in labour.
He urged all the in-house unions in the University to work harmoniously with the Management for better staff welfare.
Professor Adamu stressed that on this day, which is known as May Day, the cooperation and support of all staff should continue to drive the University to greatness, adding that the spirit of team work the staff of the Institution are known for should be maintained.
He disclosed that the University Management is working hard to ensure that staff development and welfare are ensured.
“We are doing everything humanly possible to ensure that staff development and welfare of are given more priority”, the statement added.
The Vice Chancellor also used the opportunity once again, to thank the University community, staff, Union leaders and students for their understanding, support and team spirit shown to the Management overtime.
