Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the Emir of Ningi, Bauchi State, His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya.
The late Alhaji Muhammad Danyaya, one of the longest-reigning monarchs in Northern Nigeria, was known for his peaceful disposition and unwavering love for his people. His passing marks the end of an era of exceptional leadership and dedicated service to the community.
Governor Radda, in his condolence message, stated, “It is with a heavy heart that we receive the news of the passing of His Royal Highness, Alhaji (Dr.) Yunusa Muhammad Danyaya OON, the Emir of Ningi. His departure is not just a loss to Bauchi State, but to the entire Northern Nigeria and beyond.”
“The late Emir was a beacon of peace, unity, and progress. His long reign was characterized by wisdom compassion, and welfare of his people. His legacy of peaceful coexistence and community development will continue to inspire us all,” Governor Radda added.
“On behalf of the Government and people of Katsina State, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the Governor of Bauchi State, His Excellency, Senator Bala Muhammed, the royal family, the people of Ningi Emirate, and indeed, all of Bauchi State,” Governor Radda message read in part.
“We also commiserate with the entire Northern Nigeria on this great loss. May Allah (SWT) grant the departed Aljannat Firdaus and give the family, and all those affected, the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Governor Radda prayed.
