As the return of over 2,600, Bauchi State Pilgrims set to commence Monday, the first flight of about 500 pilgrims have performed Dawaful Al-ifadah to mark the end of their stay in Makkah.
Already pilgrims from Kebbi State and Federal Capital Territory Abuja have arrived in Nigeria after the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON releases the schedule for the return flights.
Speaking on the state of preparation for Bauchi State, Spokesperson of the state 2024 Amirul-Hajj Alhaji Team Alhaji Yayanuwa Zainabari said already luggages of the pilgrims are taken to King Albdul’aziz International Airport Jeddah after scaling through the screening process.
Yayanuwa Zainabari said arrangements have been made to use eighteen seater busses for conveyance of the pilgrims to the airport at the early hours of tomorrow Monday.
On the schedule for the subsequent flights, Yayanuwa Zainabari said screening of the second and third flights is ongoing as their departure time would be announced soon.
He commended the pilgrims for complying with the authorities through sticking to the approved kilograms of big and small luggages and avoidance of carrying prohibited properties.
Some of the pilgrims who thanked Allah for giving them the opportunity to perform Hajj exercise as one of the pillars of Islam also prayed for him to accept it as an act of worship. END
