Worried by the difficult situation in the country, Resident Pastor of the Living Faith Church, Bauchi, Paul John Audu urged Christians to remain steadfast in prayers and dedicate their lives to God for divine intervention.
The Cleric also admonished them to ensure that they lived optimally in order to attract His mercy and grace in their lives as true believers particularly at moments like this.
Pastor Audu in his presentation as Guest Speaker during the annual Prayer Rally organised by the State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) held at the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) LCC Yelwan Tudu RCC Bauchi on Saturday, the Clergyman spoke on the theme ‘Arise oh Lord and have mercy on us’ drawn from stating that “all have failed, hence, the need to desist from any form of ungodly acts because, God is after the faithful ones.”
He also said that because Christians are serving a God of mercy, He listens to their cries whenever they cried to Him and repent from their sins.
The Clergyman expresses assurance that if there is any need to turn to God for mercy upon the land, then it is now especially at the critical moment that life is unbearable to cope up with.
According to him, most of the problems facing Nigeria and Nigerians, are as a result of the many sins and failure to do the needful as believers in Christ.
Paul Audu further admonished believers to learn to be prayerful in their lives and God will answer them and meet their heart desires according to His riches in glory as promised in the Bible.
He reiterated the need to pray fervently with sincererity of heart believing that their prayers would be answered by God because of His compassion and tender mercies.
