Four suspected of Brig. Gen. Harold Udokwere, the national chairman of the Retired Members of the Nigerian Armed Forces have been arrested.
They were arrested by operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
Recall that three-man armed robbery gang attacked and killed Udokwere at his residence in the Kubusa area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Sunday.
Following the incident, the FCT Commissioner of Police, Bennett Igweh, ordered a thorough investigation into the general’s death. The swift response led to the arrest of the four suspects, who are now in custody and assisting with the ongoing probe.
This development underscores the commitment of the Nigeria Police to ensuring justice and maintaining security in the FCT.
Further details regarding the investigation and charges against the suspects are expected to be released as the probe continues.
