Meet Mr. Bosun Tijani, the Minister for Communications Innovation and Digital Economy.
There is supposed to be a lot to say about him, but l will just say little and keep quiet and find my way.
His outspoken manner against the government, especially the previous government, always rings in both my heart to the brain and then to my heart.
When he was appointed, l like several Nigerians were so optimistic he would perform wonderfully okay far more than his predecessor, Professor Isa Ali Pantami within the short period of his appointment.
Alas, nothing special has changed since he took the mantle of leadership. And this has brought a lot of criticism from some Nigerians.
Meanwhile, my opinions on this are many, but let’s briefly explain them.
Bosun Tijani, like many citizens, always feels being in the realm of leadership or position is as easy as eating rice and beans until they get there to realize it is far more than that.
Get me right, l don’t doubt his capacity or capability to handle the position effectively but several things will always work against him.
He thinks taking positions or holding posts in Nigeria is like the type we take at the micro level for macro, where several issues do come up mostly unexpectedly.
Am pretty sure he must have known that Nigeria is such a big country where you will end up realizing that no matter how good your intention or capable or intelligent you are to discharge the duty you are assigned, you will end up being like a failure except only people like us who are strictly observant and often act like a realist will blame you less because we understand those cog in the wheel of progress that often stand stagnant to await all the appointed or elected ones.
We understand that several Nigerians, just like some of our leaders, need a change of mindset more than anything, not only usually criticism of the latter alone.
Certainly, despite all his knowledge, he failed to realize all these as he used to choose condemnation or criticism as his best weapon to tackle Buhari’s government and Tinubu before he was elected. Now he must have known better.
