The All Progressives Congress (APC) has blasted Oyo State Government, Seyi Makinde for prioritizing his 2027 political ambition over the needs of his constituents.
According to Felix Morka, National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Makinde’s actions are a disservice to the people of Oyo State.
Makinde has been accused of recklessly pursuing his political goals, blaming the APC for the turmoil within his own People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and other opposition parties.
The APC argues that instead of pointing fingers, Makinde should take responsibility for his party’s failures.
The statement highlights Nigeria’s economic progress under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, citing a trade surplus of nearly N7 billion, improved revenue-to-debt service ratio, and a 3.19% economic expansion.
These achievements, the APC claims, demonstrate the effectiveness of President Tinubu’s policies and undermine Makinde’s credibility.
The APC urges Nigerians to support President Tinubu’s administration as his policies begin to yield benefits for all citizens.
