Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly picked Chelsea over Paris Saint-Germain as his preferred destination, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The striker and his current club, Napoli, have reached an agreement to part ways this summer.
Osimhen has netted 75 goals and registered 18 assists in 130 appearances across all competitions for Napoli.
La Gazzetta dello Sport, via Spazio Napoli, reports that both PSG and Chelsea would have started initial contacts with Napoli.
Osimhen’s contract with the Serie A champions includes a release clause of 130 million euros.
Chelsea are planning to include makeweights in the proposed deal to sign Osimhen, while the Parisians are working on deferring the payment of the release clause.
Chelsea are in the market for a proven goalscorer to bolster the squad.
