Formal presidential aide, Reno Omokri has commended president Bola Tinubu for signing the Student Loan Act into Law.
He said, President Tinubu has given young Nigerians the major ladder they will need to climb the success pyramid.
In addition, Reno stated that, if implemented as envisioned, the funds will be accessible to those who most need them.
Reno said these on his official socal media X page on Wednesday.
He wrote, “I commend President Tinubu for signing the Student Loan Act into Law. By this, he has given young Nigerians the major ladder they will need to climb the success pyramid. I read the summary of the new law. If implemented as envisioned, the funds will be accessible to those who most need them.”
“President Tinubu’s policies, including the flotation of the Naira, the removal of fuel subsidy, the payment of wage support to federal workers, and now this Student Loan initiative, are a fulfilment of his campaign promises, and have the potential to undo the damage that the last eight locust years of Buhari did to Nigeria.”
“I fully align with and support these aforementioned policies, because we in the Peoples Democratic Party also campaigned on these ideas. It really does not matter to me who makes Nigeria great again, as long as Nigeria becomes great again.”
“However, I think it serves Nigeria best if we in the opposition commend when we see something commendable and condemn when we observe condemnable actions, rather than permanently spinning every positive development for our people negatively.”
He plead with other opposition figures to celebrate this epochal moment for Nigerian students.
