Former National publicity secretary and f the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan has asked former Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello.
He called on Bello to “come out of hiding and submit himself to the law”.
This he said after the embattled former governor was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged money laundering.
Ologbondiyan said Bello should listen to Nigerians who have asked him to submit himself to the law.
“He is left with only one choice and that is, he should go and face the law,” Ologbondiyan said.
Whether he is guilty or innocent, it is the law that will decide that. All these shenanigans by him is needless.
“My advice for him is that he should submit himself to the law. He was a chief law officer of Kogi state for eight years, how then can he be running away from that law?
“He should listen to the wise counsel of Nigerians who have said that he should go and face the law.”
On Wednesday, the ex-governor’s media team said Bello is not running from the law but wants due process to be followed.
