In a bold move, Abia North Senator and former governor of Abia State, Orji Kalu, has announced that he’s grounding his private jet until the federal government addresses the pressing issue of salary disparities for workers in Nigeria and West Africa.
Kalu shared his decision in a brief video posted on Instagram and Facebook, stating, “Honestly, I have stopped using my private jet since 2 August. And I want to maintain that until we are able to sort out the differentials on the workers in Nigeria and in West Africa – their salaries, because buying fuel and the rest of them.”
Instead of using his private jet, Kalu revealed that he will opt for commercial flights, demonstrating his commitment to solidarity with Nigerian workers.
