Protesters shutdown Kano shops, petrol stations, supermarkets

Protesters in their Hundreds have shutdown the Ancient City of Kano, with Shops, Filling Stations been Vandalized, while tyres were set on fire on many Roads barracketed.

A Supermarket Sandaraki Super Market, Ruofaida Shops, Two filling Stations and some small Shops along Maiduguri Road, Zoo Roads and other places were completely vandalized and looted away.

Even though most of the protesters were under aged children ,security Personal were up and doing to ensure peaceful protest but the protesters were too many and have outnumbered the security personnel.

some security personnel have started fearing Canisters on the Protesters who storm Government House, and other places.

The Protesters who were seen commencing their actions from within towns, especially areas outskirts City Center like Gama, Tudunwada, Tudunmurtala, emirs palace road,and other similar places came out enmass with different colors of paints on their bodies.

Other areas which saw young Boys carrying dangerous weapons are Hotoro, Maiduguri Road, Ahmadu Bello way and some many other areas, shouting “we needs urgent action.

At BUK road underaged Childers were seen braking drainage slaps looting iron roads and other iron bill boards .

Kano City is not safe at the moment as protesters have taken over major streets, All business activities were closed down.

“Kano is tensed right now ” said a resident.
