A shocking incident occurred in Edo State, as the motorcade of Senator Monday Okpebholo, the APC governorship candidate, was brutally attacked by members of the Edo State Security Network and alleged government-sponsored thugs.
The attackers, reportedly led by Francis Inegbeniki, targeted the senator’s security detail, leaving three mobile policemen injured with bullet wounds.
Godswill Inegbe, the Legislative Aide to the senator Monday Okpebholo revealed in a statement on Wednesday that tragically, one of the policemen has been declared dead.
