Breaking: Residents trapped as apartment collapses in Abuja

A two-storey residential apartment has collapsed in Abuja.

Many residents of the apartment are currently trapped in the rubble.

The building collapsed building is located beside Cupid Hotel on Cupid Road, Sultan Dasuki Way in Kubwa was formerly a hotel known as Al-Hilal.

As at the time of filing this report, emergency responders and security personnel have commenced operations to rescue victims while two persons have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
