Residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja woke up to a fresh long queues for fuel on Friday.
The motorists who spoke with our Correspondent, however, lamented the untold hardship the development has caused them.
Some of the filling stations along Airport Road visited by our Reporter were not selling while few that were selling PMS were crowded with long queues of vehicles.
Speaking with Discoverer Nigeria, a motorist who identified himself as Adeleke Muyiwa said despite buying the feul at exubitant rate of about N700 per liter, Nigerian are still suffering to get the product.
“My brother, please tell me what exactly we are enjoying under this government of Bola Tinubu? You removed fuel subsidy from the first day in office but one year after that we are still queuing for fuel. It is a total shame.”
Another respondent at a filling station opposite the NNPC tower the Capital city who identified herself as Fausat, said she joined the queue since around 8.30am and two hours later she has not gotten the fuel.
She said: “This government has to wake up because reasons for this is not known. We are suffering.”
The authorities were yet to give reasons for the fresh scarcity as at the time of filling this report.
